Jay then possibly breaks Mike's heart by bursting the bubble of casting possibilities for Alien 5. Jay then waxes philosophical about several subjects, including his trading card collections of the past, using the new Topps Star Wars trading card app, and his new experiences with Wolfenstein '14 a.k.a. Wolfenstein: The New Order. Mike gives his thoughts about Kid Icarus Uprising on 3DS, Battlefield: Hardline on XBox One, and Codename: S.T.E.A.M. on 3DS. 

In this new episode, Mike and Jay grapple with topics ranging from: the new Star Wars related news, to the most recent Walking Dead episode and the shenanigans afoot in Alexandria; they then address the new talk of a Tron sequel, set a new low in talk of announced Ghostbusters movie, and then delve into many things Sony, in the form of Mike's experience with Assassin's Creed Unity, and the  new PSN series Powers. Also, Jay snots up the joint with his Hill Country Curse.

They also delve into a discussion about why the initial critical bashing of Blomkamp's Chappie seems to be taking place, almost as if people are being paid to hate on it. Mike also gives his insight into some gaming topics, mainly about a new game that he's picked up, Helldivers,  the aforementioned topic of VR in gaming and, um, other avenues. Mike also revisits his latest views in movies, and Jay rounds out the discussion with his thoughts on The Walking Dead. 

In this week's episode, Mike and Jay talk about the passing of a comic, writer, and television producer, Harris Wittels. They also talk Parks and Rec and the winding down of the series. The conversation also goes into discussing SNL 40 and some of the behind the scenes gossip, specifically the reveal that Eddie Murphy was set to come back in a sketch that might have broken the Internet. There is also a lament at the possibilities of the ill-fated Beverly Hills Cop television show, as it was to be run by Shawn Ryan, the creator and showrunner on many quality shows. The two also react to the news that District 9 and Chappie filmmaker Neill Blomkamp is signed to helm the new Alien movie, scheduled to follow Prometheus 2. More Marvel Cinematic Universe talk abounds this week as well, and then some new game talk. Mike talks of his disappointment in Ryse; disappointment might not be the word he's looking for, perhaps it's underwhelming. He also talks about his excitement for The Order: 1886, and his frustration with how some gaming journalists seem to single out certain games with less than creative or constructive criticism.

In this week's conclusion to  last week's first part episode, Mike and Jay discuss the idea of the Golden Age of Television concept that has been bandied about lately. They also discuss viewing habits and media of film and television. Podcasts also enter the fray and several are discussed,including Jay Mohr's Mohr Stories and Bret Easton Ellis's The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast. They then meander into discussions of social injustices and such. 

And yes, due to Jay's incompetence with setting up the microphone, it seems as if he and Mike are speaking to each other from across the room, and not across the table as they recorded. Please excuse his incompetence for this episode and the last. 

In this week's episode, Mike and Jay take a scattered trip down a convoluted lane littered with discussions about the Wachowskis and some of their work, including The Matrix, Speed Racer, and Jupiter Ascending. Jay also gives his undercooked reaction to Darren Aronofsky's biblical fantasy epic, Noah. The discussion then abruptly ends with a slight defense of the controversial fantasy show, Lost.

They round out the episode with rumination about the end of Parks and Rec, Cougar Town, and Mad Men...and then the two dissipate into conspiratorial oblivion - yet still find the time to praise Justified.

In this week's extended episode, Mike and Jay veer in and out of movies and gaming talk, often with some unhinged results. First, Jay laments the overall quality of of American Sniper as a film, eats another helping of crow, this time about enjoying the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, eventually recommends some movies from his Netflix queue to Mike, and then revisits some older, overly romanticized movies from his past, ultimately making a statement that is sure to be a controversial statement about a beloved movie franchise. Mike's contributions cover the gamut of gaming of movies, including his reactions to finishing Battlefield 4, and waffling about buying Madden '15. He also trods into movie territory and wonders if Simon Pegg co-writing Star Trek 3 is good or bad for the franchise, and persuades Jay to give Pitch Perfect a chance, considering Mike's recent successful streak with recommendations. 

In this week's episode, Mike and Jay sit outside to record in their "natural studio recording experience phase" and are exposed to the elements, which annoyingly worsens Jay's fragile immune system in the form of his allergies. Oh, and they also obsess over The Interview yet again as Mike reveals his love of the near war-inducing satire. They also journey into territory about various Oscars snubs and question their relevance, tiptoe around the return of two fan favorites, Community and The Walking Dead, lament the passing of retro phone and communication technologies, spend way too long speculating and complaining about recent gaming experiences and eventually compose Mike's obituary upon learning of his theoretical, someday-it's-bound-to-happen terminal diagnosis.
